Moosie Drier

Director

 

Moosie Drier has had a long and celebrated career.  He got his start as a child actor, getting his first break on the TV show “Lassie,” and following that up with numerous appearances in TV and film, including “Rowan and Martin’s Laugh-In”, “The Bob Newhart Show,” and “Oh God!” He also made guest appearances on several hit shows of the 70’s such as “Adam 12,” “The Waltons” and “Little House on the Prairie.”

 

Since that auspicious beginning, he has guested on a number of series, including “Family Ties,” “The A-Team,” “Highway to Heaven” and “Cagney and Lacey.” Recently he has been utilized a great deal as a voice over artist in such films as “Shrek,” “Howl’s Moving Castle” and “Madagascar.”

 

He has expanded into directing, helming episodes of “Reba,” “Too Late with Adam Carolla,” “The Bar,” and now “Roadside Attraction.”

Gareth Taylor

Cinematographer

 

Gareth is a cinematographer, filmmaker and photographer based in Los Angeles but he works all over the world. Work and travel are his biggest passions while listening to music gives rhythm to it all.  

His credits include films, documentaries, commercials and music videos for the most part. He's also done high-end corporate work for companies such as Visa, Kia, Intel and Hewlett Packard to name a few. 

 

As a photographer he's tackled commercial jobs for jewelry lines, architectural design firms, nature and food magazines, as well as his own personal projects. He's traveled to 41 countries, worked on 5 continents, speak multiple languages, but most importantly love what he does. Gary Howell

Screenwriter

 

Gary Howell was born in Longview, Texas and like Matthew McConaughey, attended both Longview High School and the University of Texas in Austin . After graduating, he moved to Houston, attended law school and practiced law for 17 years. He began writing short films and was fortunate enough for one of his scripts to be discovered by the Australian director Matthew George, who hired him to co-write the feature film "Broad Daylight," which is currently in development with Acacia Filmed Entertainment ("LBJ", "Wind River").  He also just sold the Indian rights to his feature film "According to Plan" and pre-production has begun on that feature.  He is currently working on a television pilot ("Bounty") for a drama series about a Texas bounty hunter.

 

"Country Road 12" (formerly titled "Roadside Attraction") is his first filmed short.  A second, "Homecoming," is currently in pre-production. He enjoys collaborating with other writers and directors, especially on feature films.
