Create. Entertain. Inspire.

It's a dream for many filmmakers to do those very things, but the stark reality is that very few ever get to achieve it.

 

Costs to produce even a short film can be daunting and a major stumbling block for those who look to produce films that entertain, inform and challenge us. The roadblocks can be even greater for women and minorities.

 

Megan Griffey has for years sought to create her own project, and when "Country Road 12" (Originally titled "Roadside Attraction") became available, that project for her turned into a reality.  Filming completed in late January, 2016.   And even though many people contributed their time and talent for free, there were, and continue to be, large production, editing and festival entry costs that need to be met.
